The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) remains confident that the current football campaign will resume.
The development was confirmed in document for the Football governing body in the country.
The FUFA Executive has decided that in view of the prevailing circumstances the following Competitions for the season 2020/21 have been postponed indefinitely;
•The StarTimes Uganda Premier League Match Days 27 to 30;
• The StarTimes FUFA Big League Play offs.
•The Stanbic Uganda Cup semi-finals and Final.
FUFA also confirmed that new dates for resumption are in due course after obtaining the necessary clearance from Government.
On Friday, 18th June, the President of the Republic of Uganda Yoweri Kaguta Museveni suspended all sports activities for 42 day due to the surging Covid-19 cases in the country.
