SINAN RAJUB SENOGA
KCCA FC and Wakiso Giants are the only Uganda Premier League clubs that have so far qualified for inspection and evaluation by point score system in the FUFA licensing process.
The two clubs fully submitted the mandatory Criteria A requirements before the stipulated deadline.
The FUFA Licensing Committee has also fined the other 12 clubs for failing to fulfill the mandatory requirements in time.
Two of the 12, that is Onduparaka FC and new entrants MYDA FC have been fined one million shillings for failing to submit any of the requirements.
URA FC, Busoga, BUL, Mbarara, Police, Bright Stars, Express, UPDF, SC Villa and Vipers had missing some requirements and have also been fined 500,000/=
All clubs have been given 7th August as the new deadline to have all requirements submitted.
Relatively, no club in the FUFA Big League has submitted any of the requirements and subsequently they have all been fined 400,000/=
The FUFA licensing process is meant to prepare clubs for the 2020/21 Uganda Premier League season that is tentatively scheduled to kick off on 17th October 2020.
