FUFA JUNIORS LEAGUE: Vipers annihilate Tooro United at Kitende

Vipers SC Junior Team 6-0 Tooro United Junior Team

Vipers Junior Team were 6-0 winners over Tooro United Junior Team in a Fufa Juniors League rescheduled match played at St. Mary’s Kitende on Thursday evening.

Youngster Travis Mutyaba bagged a brace for the free scoring Venoms while Sudaice Kakooza, Andrew Kawooya, Fahad Jumbe and Abdul Nsereko grabbed one goal apiece.

Kakooza took his season tally to five goals, two shy of leading scorers Isma Mugulusi of Busoga United and KCCA’s Oscar Mawa.

The commanding victory earned Vipers four points and took them to 17 points from six games. They sit four points behind log leaders Busoga United who have played a game more.

For starters, a team is awarded four points for any win with a difference of two goals in the Fufa Juniors League.

Tooro United succumbed to their third defeat to remain second from the bottom of the Hat-Trick Group table with only four points accumulated from five games.

The Fufa Juniors League will resume on Sunday February 9th with eight fixtures from both the Hat Trick and Treble Group.

Vipers will face BUL FC in a curtain raiser of the Uganda Premier League game involving the senior teams of both clubs at the Fufa Technical Center, Njeru.
