FUFA DRUM: Ndahiro, Ogwetti to lead Buganda’s quest for second consecutive title

FUFA Drum Inaugural winners Buganda province have revealed their 25 man squad ahead of the quarter finals slated to kick off on Friday 30th-November.

Regional league leading scorer Gerald Ogweti with 10 goals, Ezra Kaye Kizito the 2019 University Football League top scorer ( 15 goals) and Ronald Ssekiganda Masaza winning captain 2019 with Bulemezi as well as the MVP are among the new inclusions.

Captain Dan Birikwalira misses out due to an injury as well as last year’s MVP Vianne Ssekajugo and Shafik Kagimu who are with the national team in preparations of the CECAFA Senior Challenge Cup.

SC Villa’s Derrick Ndahiro, Frank Kalanda and Frank Ssenyondo of Express FC are also part of the named squad.

Buganda is in group A alongside Bukedi, Tooro and Acholi.

The team will be setting off for Gulu early morning on Friday 30th-November.

They kick start their campaign against Acholi Province on 1st-December 4:00pm at Pece Stadium, Gulu.
