FUFA Big League : Kireka United extends Kira’s winless streak


Kireka United has compelled Kira United to a 3-2 defeat and extending their winless streak in the process.

Richard Onekalit put Kireka United in the lead in the 4th minute before Moses Ndawula levelled matters before half time.

Moses Ndawula extended Kira United’s lead in the 50th minute before Paul Kibandwa and skipper Hamidu Kibirango levelled matters for Kireka United and ultimately sealing it for the hosts.

Kira United has managed one point out of the possible fifteen scoring three goals putting them at risk of facing relegation.

Hamidu Kibirango the man at the helms of Kireka United praised his boys for the positive result despite the challenges they had after the postponement of the match.

” It has not been an easy task for us, remember this game was supposed to be played on Thursday but postponed.

“It has grately affected us since the club manager was out of the country and we could not train for two days.”

” I am so grateful the players have put up a great performance and what matters most is maximum points.”

Kireka United will be back in action on Wednesday 05th- December as they visit Water FC at Muteesa II Stadium Wankulukuku while Kira United will host Proline FC on Thursday 06th- December at Mandela National Stadium Namboole.
