New entrants Kiboga Young intensified their high-flying run with a 2-1 win over Proline at Lugogo to remain the only unbeaten team in the Rwenzori group after 8 games.
Prior to the kick off, Proline coached by Shafik Bisaso had not tasted defeat but goals from Brian Mugume and Isaac Otto in each half ensured that comes to an end.
Mugume separated the two sides with a close range header from a corner kick three minutes to the mandatory halftime break.
The second period saw Proline start on a high like a house on fire in pursuit for a leveller but in vain. Missing chance after the other and hitting the cross bar for the second time on the evening.
It was the visiting side that found the back of the net once again. Nvule Jamir exquisitely fed an unmarked Peter Lomolo who teed up Otto to smash home from close range.
Kiboga had a chance to make it 3-0 through Nvule whose goal bound shot was cleared off the line by Mustafa Mujuzi with Said Keni already beaten.
Seconds later, substitute Ismail Kabugu pulled one back with a tap in to give the home side a lifeline.
Kiboga Young who are under the tutelage of Felix Ssekabuuza now top the Rwenzori group with 20 points, one better than Proline.
In other Big League games played on the day, Wakiso Giants defeated Nebbi Central 2-0 courtesy of Abdul Karim Kasule and Muwadda Kateregga while Bukedea TC rallied to salvage a 1-1 draw against Entebbe FC.
Kansai Plascon overcame Kireka United by three goals to one thanks to Robert Sentongo Junior, Osman Mutumba and Henry Kitagenyi.
Kabale Sharp got better of Ntinda United at Wankulukuku thanks to a lone goal from Dickson Niwamanya Kihanga.
