FUFA BIG LEAGUE : Katwe United start survival charge against Kataka


The second round of the FUFA Big League kicks officially kicks off on Thursday 20th February with two games from the Elgon Group.

Katwe United start their survival mission against Eastern side Kataka FC at StarTimes Stadium, Lugogo.

Katwe United had a horrible first round campaign that saw them register only one win, drawing twice and losing the other five to sit at the bottom of Elgon Group with five points.

Kataka FC are seventh on the log of nine teams with 10 points from the eight games.

New signings Habib Kavuma and Tonny Odur are expected to boost Allan Kabonge’s charges who target survival from the relegation.

The other game of the day pits table leaders MYDA FC against third placed Bukedea Town Council at Elgon View grounds.

MYDA have 16 points from the eight games while their opponents are on 12 points.
