FUBA summons Gazelles squad for Zone Five Championship

The Federation of Uganda Basketball Associations has summoned a squad of twelve Gazelles players to start a non residential training camp.

The Uganda senior Women national team is in preparation for the Afrobasket Qualifiers that will take place between 12th to 17th July in Kigali, Rwanda.

Uganda will face off with hosts Rwanda, Tanzania, South Sudan, Burundi and Kenya with the winners representing the region at the FIBA Afrobasket Championship in Cameroon in September this year.

Coaches Nicholas Natuhereza and Mavita Ali will be in charge of the team that kick starts training on Friday, 18th June.
