Vipers SC have completed the signing of attacking midfielder Bright Anukani on a three year contract, Swift Sports can confirm.
Anukani joins the Kitende based side after KCCA opted out of extending his loan spell from Proline FC.
The 2019 FUFA Big League MVP is the first major signing made by Venoms in the primary transfer window.
He is expected to add more fire power in Vipers’ creative department that also has David Bagoole, Jamil Kaliisa and Karim Watambala.
Anukani is touted as one of the best offensive midfielders in the country and was part of the team that represented Uganda in the 2019 CHAN tournament held in Cameroon this year.
He was an integral figure as Uganda won the 2019 CECAFA tournament which was held Uganda at Lugogo. He scored 2 goals and registered three assists to his name.
He joins Vipers with bags of experience having represented Proline in the CAF Confederation Cup and was part of the Uganda U-20 team during the CECAFA U-20 championships.
Vipers signed goalkeeper youthful goalkeeper Jack Komakech as their first signing in the current transfer window which ends on Tuesday 21st September.
