KCCA’s title surge has been dealt a huge blow after four of their key players have been handed suspensions for two matches each.

The FUFA Competitions disciplinary panel found the four guilty of aggressively attacking the assistant referee Dick Okello in objection to his decision to make Bobosi Byaruhanga’s late equalizer stand during KCCA’s 2-2 stalemate with Vipers SC at St. Mary’s stadium Kitende.

These include midfielder Ashraf Mugume, striker Sadat Anaku and defenders Musa Ramathan and Innocent Wafula.

On top of the two match ban, they have been handed a suspended fine of 500,000/= each.
