Uganda Premier League giants KCCA FC have completed a deal for defender Geoffrey Wasswa.

Swift Sports can reliably confirm that the versatile player has put pen to paper on a two year employment contract with the 13 time Uganda Premier League champions.

Wasswa joins as a free agent after expiration of his short term contract at SC Villa where he played during the second part of last campaign.

He came close to joining URA FC but the deal fell through in the eleventh hour.

Wasswa is a former Vipers SC player whom he joined from the Junior team at the start of the 2015/16 season. He is also a product of St.Mary’s Kitende.

He managed to win two league titles and a Uganda Cup trophy with the Kitende based side.

Wasswa joins Brian Majwega, Yasser Mugerwa, Arafat Usma and his teammate at Villa Emmanuel Wasswa who are the other new recruits at KCCA FC.
