Former Maroons coach set to deputize Gitta at Wakiso Giants

Wakiso Giants are set to appoint Robert Ssekweyama as Alex Gitta’s assistant coach.

Swift Sports understands that the tactician has already reached an agreement to take over the vacant role at the club. Gitta previously served in the same capacity before being elevated to the head coach role after the departure of Douglas Bamweyana last month.

Ssekweyama has previously worked at SC Villa, Express FC, Maroons FC, Dove Football club and most recently at Tiles and Terrazo.

Gitta who was appointed as head coach last month to become the fourth manager at the club since their elevation has managed to win all the three games he has managed and with now the arrival of Ssekweyama the pair is expected to have a successful campaign.

The Purple Sharks have nine point in five games and will next host Tooro United on Friday, 19th November at the Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium in Wakiso.
