Former Kyetume defender completes move to Arua Hill

Defender Richard Matovu is understood to have completed a move newly promoted side Arua Hill SC.

Swift Sports can reliably confirm the left back has signed an employment contract of two years with the Livingstone Mbabazi coached side.

Last season, Matovu played for Kyetume FC in his second stint having previously played for Jinja based side BUL FC.

He is a goal scoring defender who managed three goals last season for Kyetume against Vipers, Mbarara City and Busoga United.

In the prestigious Masaza Cup tournament, Matovu featured for Buwekula in 2017.

At Arua Hill SC, he reunites with his former Kyetume coach Mbabazi and teammate Yusuf Ssaka who already joined the newly promoted side.

He joins other new recruits like Fred Okot, Gadaffi Gadinho, Rashid Toha, Gadaffi Wahab, Robert Eseru, Junior Adama, Innocent Maduka, Sam Sekamatte, Atendere Geriga, Ivan Eyam and Bright Vuni among others.

Mbabazi will be assisted by Sadick Sempigi as his first assistant who is also yet to be unveiled.

Former Calvary head coach Ahmed Borin was also added onto the Arua Hill technical team.
