Former KCCA FC head coach Mike Hilary has agreed terms with Rwanda Premier league side AS Kigali

Mutebi has been unemployed since he was relieved of his duties at KCCA FC in March last year.

Swift Sports Uganda can reliably confirm that the tactician has reached a compromise with the Rwanda topflight side and is set to be unveiled this week.

Mutebi came close to joining Vipers SC at the start of the current campaign but the move fell through with the Kitende outfit appointing Brazilian tactician Robertinho Oliviera.

At KCCA FC, Mutebi spent five years with the club winning three league titles, two Uganda Cups, Four Supers Cups and one CECAFA club cup making him the most successful coach in the club’s history.

Mutebi managed 247 games at KCCA, winning 152, drawing 56 and lost 39. The club scored 446 and conceded 200 goals during his reign at the 13 time Uganda Premier League champions.

He has also previously served at Maroons and SC Villa as head coach. The tactician also managed the Uganda Cranes team.

AS Kigali was established in 1999 and host their games at Kigali Stadium located in Nyamirambo. They have won the Rwandan Cup two times and the Rwandan Super Cup two times.

AS Kigali is currently 4th on the Rwanda Premier league log with 20 points they have garnered in 12 games this campaign.
