Former Express defender completes move to Malaysia

Malaysian second tier side Universiti Teknologi Mara (Uitm) FC has captured the signature of Ugandan born South Sudanese defender Bernard Coulibaly Agele.

The former Express FC player joins the Shah Alam based side as a free agent after his short spell at Paidha Black Angels came to an end.

Agele’s new side was founded in 2008 and their home ground is a 10,000 seater UiTM Stadium. It is also widely known as the lion Troops, last season finished 9th placed in the second tier of the Malaysian Premier league.

Agele who is capped 15 times with the South Sudanese national team is expected to bring solidness at Ismail Zakaria’s coached side.

He has previously featured at Express FC, SC Victoria University ( now defunct) and Paidha Black Angels. The defender is likely to be handed his debut on Friday 1st February when his side travel to Polis Diraja Malaysia at Perbandaran Stadium for the league opener.
