Female artist Sheebah donates Holic sanitary pads to U17 Women team

Ugandan Female artist Sheebah Karungi has donated 1500 packs of Holic Sanitary pads to the Uganda U17 National Women Football team.

Sheebah made the contribution at a function that was held at Lugogo Stadium on Thursday.

“I am so proud of you that you are young women but going to do something big for yourselves and the country.” You are great already and you just need to keep pushing and I know you are going to make it.” I want you to be comfortable and that is why we decided to extend this gesture to you.”

Team captain Juliet Nalukenge hailed the musician for the wonderful gesture

We are proud of you and thank you for believing in us. We want you to know that we love you and thank you for visiting us and carrying this package to the team.” Stated Nalukenge.

FUFA Executive Member Ronnie Kalema who represented the FUFA President Moses Magogo also thanked Sheebah

“I take this opportunity to thank Sheebah for giving FUFA and back to the Women National team that is just 180 minutes to make history.”

The U17 Women team will take on Cameroon in a two legged tie on yet unknown new date to determine who advances to the U17 showpiece. The team will head into a break this weekend as they await the confirmation of a new date for the Cameroon clash.
