FBL: Kabale Sharp edge 10-man Ntinda United in a 5 goal thriller

Ntinda United 2-3 Kabale Sharp 

First half goals from Hassan Kakuru and Grant Matsiko ensured an early advantage for Kabale Sharp over their hosts at Kamwokya Kataka grounds.

Hassan Kakuru was on target with a long range shot to give Kabale Sharp an early lead with only 27 minutes played.

10 minutes later, Ntinda United defender Opio Belmos fouled Hassan Kakuru at the edge of the goal area to earn himself a red card and the resultant free-kick was put at the back of the net by Grant Matsiko to double the lead for the Kabale based side.

Nasser Khemis tried his luck in the 38th minute to pull one back for Ntinda United with a long range shot from outside the 18 yards box.

Into the second half, Murungi Raymond fouled Hassan Kakuru again and Matsiko scored from the resultant free-kick to stretch the lead for Kabale Sharp.

Efforts by Ntinda United players to find another goal paid off in the 64th minute when Kabale Sharp’s Fidel Muhwezi reacted on the mounting pressure and scored against his team in the 64th minute.

The win takes Kabale Sharp to the 5th position with 29 points in Rwenzori group table of 13 teams while Ntinda United remains 7th with 26 points.
