Faisal Muwawu scored his first goal in the top flight against Masavu at Bugonga Fisheries in the 5th minute of the game. His first goal for the club has come after his 5th appearance.
Muwawu joined Kirinya Jinja SS this season from Nyamityobora FC alongside coach Charles Ayiekoh.
The striker believes that this is the first of the many to come in the near future and he is proud of the goal that gave his team another 3 points to take home. He says,
“I am very happy that my first goal in the top flight has helped my club maximise the points and I have confidence and belief that we will make it. My main target is scoring more goals at club level and national team call up since I believe I have the capacity to compete. “
Kirinya Jinja SS lies second on the table of 16 with eight points and they are to host Proline at Bugembe Stadium on 17-September in their next fixture.
