Express 2-0 Tooro United
First half goals from Congolese starlet Eric Kambale and Ibrahim Kayiwa gave Express a 2-0 win over Tooro United, their first at Wankulukuku this season.

Kambale found the back of the net with a fine header off a perfect cross from Michael Birungi in the 5th minute.
Express would have gone away with a win of bigger margin but failed to convert the so many chances created on the evening.
Tooro United’s goalkeeper Meddie Kibirige made two point blank saves to deny Birungi and Tony Odur in the 20th minute.
Wasswa Bbosa brought on Steven Ategeka for defender Musa Mukasa in the 30th minute, a move that saw Mike Kawooya shift to the right back position.
Two minutes later, Kayiwa made it 2-0 after receiving a brilliant Odur pass from a counter attack orchestrated by Kambale on the left wing.
Bbosa made his second change at the start of the second stanza, Davis Ssali came on for an ineffective Godfrey Lwesibawa.
Left footed midfielder Davies Mayanja had a glorious chance to score Express’ third goal only to see his effort cleared off the line by Ayub Kizza.
Odur was then presented with another chance from a Kayiwa pass but he blasted the ball above the bar in the 55th minute.
The visitors’ biggest chance fell to Ategeka who misdirected a Mike Kawooya header from a goal mouth scramble 5 minutes off the hour mark.
Former Express skipper Steven Luswata was withdrawn for youthful striker Baker Buyala in a move to surge for a breakthrough.
8 minutes to normal time, Kefa Kisala made his first substitution of the day as Kayiwa paved way for Badiru Nsubuga who was on a return from injury.
Express kept pushing for the third goal and it was Kambale this time round putting to waste a routine pass from Pius Mbidde.
Birungi also failed to register his name on the clean sheet when his strike missed the woodwork by a whisker with Kibirige already beaten.
As referee Deogracious Opio blew the final whistle, Express were able to register their first home win of the season despite a host of chances wasted.
Kawooya and left back Fredrick Kigozi of Tooro United were booked for foul play while Mayanja was the only Express player cautioned on the day.
The win elevates the Wankulukuku outfit to the 6th place on 8 points while Tooro remains 12th on the log with 4 points after 5 games.
Tooro United will host Onduparaka in their subsequent league fixture at the Buhinga grounds on Saturday November 3rd while Express will make a long trip to take on Paidha Black Angels at the Greenlight stadium in Arua on the same day.
