Goalkeeper Chrispus Kusiima was officially unveiled by Express FC on Monday afternoon after signing a two-year deal.

The 24-year-old shot-stopper says he wants to garner the highest number of clean sheets in the league next season.

” I joined Express FC because it’s a big brand and club, the target is to create as many clean sheets in my case am looking at 18 because I know if I achieve that, we shall be in the top three a position I want us to finish in as well,” Kusiima told Express FC website.

In a video interview with the club’s official You-tube channel, Kusiima says he wants to help Express win a trophy.

” I hope to help Express win a trophy because that’s one of my targets. My personal target is to keep the most clean sheets in the forthcoming season. I want to keep 18 clean sheets but I also want to play for the national team.”

However, it will not be an easy ride for the former Tooro United and Nyamityobora FC custodian because he will have to beat competition from Mathias Muwanga for the club’s first-choice spot.

Kusiima says he is welcome to such a healthy competition at his new club,

“I know I’ve joined a team with competitive players but the good thing is its healthy competition and I also believe if we work as a unit, we shall all win as a team” He adds.

Express have already signed Uganda Hippos goalkeeper Dennis Otim who is among the other players expected to be unveiled in the coming days.
