Despite dominating proceedings, Wasswa Bbosa’s men went a goal down just at the stroke of halftime when Ibrahim Abdallah Hamad’s free kick took a deflection off Arthur Kiggundu and beat goalkeeper Joel Mutakubwa.

The second half saw the Red Eagles search for an immediate response and they finally got it.

Muzamir Mutyaba equalized with an exquisite free kick at the edge of the box in the 55th minute.

Bbosa’s men continuously pushed for a winner which arrived in the last minute of the added three.

Winger Martin Kizza was brought down in the box and a penalty was awarded to Express.

Kambale stood up to the task and put the ball a few inches above the keeper’s trying gloves.

Express will face the winner between Azam and Big Bullets of Malawi in the final slated for Saturday.
