Newly appointed chairman Kiryowa Kiwanuka continues to breathe new life in Express FC. The “new sheriff in town” officially launched the Express-Equity Card which will doubled as the club’s seasonal ticket.
The development was graced at an interactive ceremony between Kiryowa Kiwanuka and the club diehards at Wankulukuku stadium.
The Express-Equity Card which cost only 50,000/= will ensure a fan accesses Express FC’s home games throughout the season at that cost.
Soon after launching the season ticket, the fans subsequently stormed the Equity service tent to embrace the trend.
During the same event, Kiwanuka intimated that the club will land more four more partners on board who include Uganda Breweries Limited, Buganda Land Board and an insurance company among others.
It’s also expected that the club will unveil an official shirt sponsor come next week.
The club also launched a tag line “Mukwano Gwabangi, Ndiba Yokka” in line to do away with the hooliganism caption that has been hovering around the club and it’s fans.
KK also unveiled his advisory council which consists of 21 members with 4 more expected to be announced soon. These include; Dr. Sam Sejjaka, Alex Munobe, Aidan Kateregga, Francis Buule, Robert Saawa, Kitenda John, Ronald Ssaka, Henry Njuuba, Victoria Nkwanga Katamba, Moses Bamuturaki, Jean Mugunga, Bernand Oundo, Steven Mugema, Pamela Ankunda, Robert Aloro, Kevin Kizito Kiyingi, Mark Ssali, Ssubi Kiwanuka & CEO Hamza Jjunju.
Alex Munobe, Robert Aloro, Henry Njuuba & Mark Ssali will be on the club technical committee which Kefa Kisala and his crew is answerable to.
At the same juncture, the club unveiled a 25-man squad that will be used for the forthcoming premier league season.
