FUFA has confirmed that Express FC will officially be crowned 2020/21 Uganda Premier League champions on Thursday.
Express FC were declared League champions on June 29th after FUFA applied force Majeure due to the Covid-19 lockdown.
The Federation and the Uganda Premier League have postponed the scientifically crowning of the 2020/2021 Champions Express.
The event was slated for Thursday, 8th July but it has been postponed to Tuesday next week.
The function will now be held on Tuesday 13th, July 2021 at 10am at StarTimes Offices, Nakasero, Soriz House.
At the event, the club Executive, Players and a few members of the media will grace the function.
FUFA however, did not officially reward the 2019/20 champions Vipers SC their trophy who were also declared winners in the same circumstances.
Express are now Uganda Premier league champions for the seventh time in their history and will represent Uganda at the 2021/22 CAF Champions League.
