Express FC have officially announced the signing of midfielder Ibrahim Kayiwa from Tooro United.
Kayiwa returns to the club on a two year employment contract and becomes the 13th signing for Wasswa Bbosa coached side during the ongoing transfer window.
“I am glad to be back at Express FC, for me this has always been my home and just like all my other teammates our target is to fight for silverware. We can only achieve that by working hard.” Kayiwa told the club website.
This is the third time that Kayiwa will be playing for the six time Uganda Premier League champions. He has also previously featured for Vipers, Kirinya Jinja SS (now Busoga United) and Tooro United.
The midfielder joins 12 new recruits who have been previously unveiled by the Wasswa Bbosa coached team.
Denis Otim, Chrispus Kusiima, Richard Bbosa, Godfrey Lwesibawa, Abel Eturude, Isaac Nsengiyunva, Mustafa Kiragga, Charles Musige, Mahad Yaya Kakooza, Baker Sakah, John Toki Byamukama and Charles Musige are the players that have been unveiled.
The 2020/21 Football season is expected to commence next month after the government gave s greenlight to sports activities after 186 days suspension following the outbreak of coronavirus pandemic in the country.
