Express FC will announce the appointment of former BUL FC tactician Kefa Kisala as head coach on a 2 year deal.
Kisala is understood to have put pen on paper after lengthy negotiations that will see him man in the Express FC dug out until 2020 unless otherwise.
Kisala will return to Wankulukuku following his resignation from BUL FC a year after his appointment at the Jinja based outfit.
Swift Sports understands that the former Uganda Cranes left footed winger will officially start his duties on Wednesday 11th when the Wankulukuku outfit kicks off pre-season training.
He will replace Shafik Bisaso who is reportedly destined for further coaching studies in Europe.
Kisala is expected to come along with his own technical staff that will have Tamale Pinto among his immediate assistants.
As a player, Kisala played for Express in two different stints that is 1992-1997 and in 2001 winning 2 league titles and 5 Uganda Cups. He also played for Military Police and KCC.
Kisala guided Express to a Uganda Cup triumph as a coach in 2006. He has also previously coached at Maji FC, Masaka Local Council, Iganga Town Council, URA FC and most recently at BUL FC.
Express FC commonly known as Mukwano Gw’abangi played to a dreadful 2017-18 season that saw the club survive relegation on the last day courtesy of a 1-0 win over Masavu FC in Bugonga.
