Forward Alfred Leku will be expected to emulate his recent form to help Express FC get the desired points while for the hosts, captain Nelson Senkatuuka must wear his scoring boots to boost the hosts’ side.
The visitors will also be welcoming back Davis Mayanja and goalkeeper Tonny Kyamera who missed the previous game but will miss the services of Julius Ntambi and Isaac Kisujju due to injuries.
Speaking to www.swiftsportsug.com about this encounter, the Express FC head coach Shafik Bisaso pointed that despite Bright stars being a good team, his team is set to secure maximum points form their backyard at Mwererwe. He said ;
“Bright stars are a very good team and given that they will be playing at home definitely it’s not going to be easy for us. They are very good at defending but we shall go all out to look for the desired win and the much needed points”
Express FC have won 2 of the 5 previous encounters with Bright stars drawing 3 times with the most recent one played to a goalless draw at Wankulukuku in the first round of this season.
After playing 17 games, Express FC are still struggling in the relegation zone in the 15th position on the table with 17 points while Bright stars are 12th with 19 points after playing 16 games.
A win for the red Eagles will see them slightly above the redline in the 13th position on 18 points while one for the Mwererwe based side will see them in the 8th position on 23 points.
