Uganda Premier league champions Express FC have confirmed the exit of goalkeeper Mathias Muwanga.
The club confirmed that he was offered a contract renewal but he chose to turn it down.
The player who spent three seasons at Express is reported to be in talks with Congolese club AS Vita.
Muwanga joined Express FC from URA FC and has also featured for Sadolin Paints FC (Now Kansai Plascon FC)
He emerged as the best goal keeper in the recently concluded Uganda Premier league season after keeping 13 clean sheets.
Express have already lined up Kyetume’s Joel Mutakubwa as Muwanga’s potential replacement with negotiations underway.
