Express Football Club have officially announced the signing of forward George Ssenkaaba from newly promoted Uganda Premier League side Kitara FC.
Ssenkaaba has put pen to paper on a two year employment contract with the six time Ugandan champions.
“I am delighted to join the Red Eagles, like all other players this is a dream come true and I can’t wait to get started.” Ssenkaaba told the club website.
His new head coach Wasswa Bbosa expects a great impact from the forward
“Ssenkaaba posses the qualities we want in a forward, I am certain he will have a positive impact for us when the season starts.” Stated Bbosa.
Ssenkaaba has been a key pillar for Kitara during on their way to the topflight division, he netted five goals for the side during the Big League last season.
He has previously featured for Saints FC, Kirinya Jinja SS (now Busoga United) and SC Villa. The Wankulukuku based has already captured signatures of Crispus Kusiima, Godfrey Lwesibawa, Abel Eturude, Ibrahim Kayiwa, Mustafa Kiragga, Enock Walusimbi, Murushid Juuko, Mahad Kakooza, Baker Sakali, Denis Mubuya among others.
