Express count on home support to defeat KCCA in the return leg of the Uganda cup semifinals

On Saturday 28th May Paidha Black Angels became the first team to book a place in this year’s Uganda cup finals after a 3-2 win on aggregate over Sadolin paints. Paidha awaits for the winner between Express and KCCA to join them into the finals at Bet way Greenlight stadium on 10th of June.

KCCA won the first leg at Philip Omondi 3-2 ,they will now travel to Wankulukuku tomorrow with a slight advantage.
Express on the other hand have confidence due to the two goals they scored away from home.
As dominant as Kasasiro boys have been in the past 5 seasons, nothing will bring them much joy than rounding off the local affairs with their first ever double in their club history.

Express are the record Uganda cup winners with 10 trophies ,they will be looking to add their tally to 11 and to end the season on a high as well.
Speaking to Simon Sserunkuma who scored in the first leg , he said

We have prepared for the game well and ready to win so as to impress our fans.
“The two goals, we scored at Philip Omondi give us a foundation on what to play for in the second leg,” added the midfielder.

KCCA has won all the three encounters against Express this season and these encounters have produced a total of 10 goals with KCCA at higher ratio 7:3, that is, home and away in the league and the Uganda cup first leg win at Philip Omondi.
KCCA is likely to make two changes in the starting line up that played in the fixture at Lugogo, the injured Timothy Awany will be replaced by Habib Kavuma and youngster will make way for Bukenya Lawrence for Ivan Ntege while Mukasa Musa will miss out for Express due to suspension.

KCCA will be looking for the first double in their 54 years history. Express fc’s Victory won’t only put them closer to winning Silver ware, but also an opportunity to compete in next season’s CAF Confederations cup.
