Express confirm new home ground ahead of UPL second round

Express FC have confirmed Kavumba as their new home ground with less than a week to the kick off of the second round of The StarTimes Uganda Premier League.

The Red Eagles will host their second round games at the Kavumba recreational grounds in Wakiso.

Due to the poor state of Wankulukuku stadium, Express had to host their remaining first round games at the Kabaka Kyabaggu Sports Stadium in Wakiso and the FUFA Technical Center Njeru.

George Ssimwogerere’s coached side’s first home game will be played on 18th January against Proline FC after visiting Busoga United and Police FC on 8th and 14th January respectively.

The six time league winners managed to collect 18th points from the 15 games in the first round.
