Soon after his team’s hard fought victory over BUL FC at the Military grounds in Bombo, UPDF head coach Steven Bogere declared that the remaining 4 fixtures are more than just league games for his side.

Speaking to the press after the game, an assertive Bogere said.

There is still time and more games to be played, any thing can happen at this moment. Before kick off, BUL thought they were safe from relegation but after the final whistle, they are only 2 points ahead of us”.

” I am very happy my that players knew what we wanted and we did our homework very well which paid off, It is a deserved result after all we worked for it dominating the game.”

Steven Bogere believes this result is good enough to build on as they face their next opponent,

” This win is enough to help us build on as we face our next opponent Bright Stars. My players know what our target is so we take every game as a cup final they play their hearts out hence the results.”

UPDF FC lies 11th on the log of 16 having collected 28 points from 26 games . They will face off with Bright Stars at Champions Stadium Mwererwe in their next encounter on Tuesday 1st May 2018.
