Eric Ndifuna has stepped down from his role as Tooro United head coach.

The CAF “B” licensed coach was named on Interim basis following the resignation of Wasswa Bbosa early into the season.

The development comes after the club failed to honour their home fixture against Onduparaka on Tuesday.

The game was called off after the Tooro outfit failed to at least raise 7 licensed players and now find themselves in serious trouble of losing the game by forfeiture and further six points for not honoring the fixture.

Over 15 players didn’t travel with the team for the fixture on Tuesday due to 3 months unpaid wages.

The club is interested in the services of former Bright Stars coach Meddie Kisekka and Charles Ssenyange is also on the club’s radar.
