Eight Ugandan officials assigned for Women’s Champions League qualifiers

Eight Ugandan officials have been appointed for the upcoming CAF Women’s Champions League CECAFA Qualifiers 2021 in Kenya.

The qualifiers will be kicked off on Saturday 28th August in Nairobi with eight teams taking part.

The Ugandan officials include center referee Shamira Nabadda and assistant referees Lydia Nantabo and Marex Nkumbi Nakitto.

Andrew Jackson Oryada will be a member of the marketing and media team while Ali Mwebe will be one of the General Coordinators, a role he has served at different CAF Championships.

FUFA Events Manager, Leila Nankya will be the tournament’s head of Protocol while Hajjat Aisha Nalule, the FUFA Competitions Director will be one of the four match commissioners.

Retired FIFA Referee, Catherine Adipo has been assigned as a member of the Referees Committee.

FUFA Women Super League Champions, Lady Doves are pitted in Group A alongside Simba Queens (Tanzania), FAD FC (Djibouti), and PVP FC (Burundi).

The eventual champions of the tournament will automatically represent CECAFA Zone at the final tournament later this year in Cairo, Egypt.
