Despite the two African giants already having sealed qualification for Cameroon 2019, Egypt Vs Tunisia was never going to be a friendly affair with Esperence’s victory over Al Ahly still being fresh.

They faced off in the opposite fixture of the group J with Egypt needing to avenge the 1-0 defeat suffered in Tunis.
Naim Sliti opened the scoring for the visitors with a cool finish that froze the home fans in 14 minutes.
Mahmoud Hassan “Trezeguet” found the equaliser only 7 minutes after to restore parity for the Faraohs.
Egypt were in ascendancy and determined to break their hosts and their relentless attacks paid dividends when Baher Elmohamady headed home a neat cross from Amr Warda.
That man Sliti returned to haunt the Egyptians with yet another surprise effort after the experienced Ahmed Hegazy failed to clear a cross into his area to make the game level on 2-2 .
With the game destined for a stalemate, reigning African footballer of the year Mohammed Salah reminded everyone when he burried home a low shot to with it for Egypt in the 90th minute.
Despite defeat, Tunisia remain at the top of group J on goal difference though level on points with Egypt at 12 points.
