Patrick Henry Kaddu finally made the long waited debut for his new side Ismaily SC as they fell 1-0 to Pyramids in the Egyptian Cup round of 16 encounter at Alexandria Stadium.

Kaddu came off the bench in the 82nd minute to replace Mahmoud El Badri as Ismaily kept on hoping for an equaliser that never came.

It was Ghanaian striker John Antwi scored the lone goal of the game that sent Pyramids to the quarter finals. Pyramids is home to Ugandan winger Abdu Lumala who is still recovering from injury.

Kaddu completed his loan move to the Egyptian side on February 6th but had to wait until Friday 21st to make his debut.

He was an unused substitute in Ismaily’s 1-0 win over Moroccan giants Raja Casablanca in the Arab Championship game played last Sunday.

The Uganda Cranes striker will be on loan at Ismaily from RS Berkane until the end of the season.

Ismaily’s next engagement will be a home game against Khalidu Aucho’s Misr El Makkasa on Monday 2nd March.
