Relegation threatened Proline have reportedly entered negotiations with Edward Golola for the vacant head coach role.

Golola was sacked by the Vipers SC on Thursday 23rd January following a league defeat to SC Villa and the Uganda Cup exit courtesy of lowly side Kajjansi United.

Swift Sports understands that, Golola is the frontrunner to come in as head coach at the Lugogo based side. It is also believed that is also on BUL FC radar.

In December last year, Matia Lule left his position as head coach at the club and was replaced by Baker Mbowa on interim basis.

Golola has previously served at Vipers SC, St. Mary’s Kitende and Big League side Kitara FC.

Proline are currently 15th on the Uganda Premier League log with 15 points in 19 games and will next face Kyetume FC in a relegation six pointer on Friday 31st January.
