Duncan Seninde played a pivotal role during Vipers league triumph last season and also helped the side finish as runners up in the Uganda Cup.

The winger who had a great season reckons the previous successes count for nothing and he is starting from “zero” again in the new campaign, which is fuelling his desire to win more trophies.

“It’s a new season, we all start from zero again, and that is the way our job as footballers is. So all what we achieved last season and in the past is quickly forgotten.”

“We all have to go again and prove we are worthy of our position, so I hopefully we can go on and defend our crown as well as winning the Uganda cup and performing well on the continent.”

The crafty winger despite being one of the stars of last season, he is yet to be summoned for the national duties and but stays optimistic at achieving this.

“To represent one’s own country is one of the biggest achievements a footballer can get. Personally i am focusing at playing for the national team which I believe is more than what money can buy and I will fight for it.”

Anew era at the Kitende based side under Mexican tactician Javier Martinez Espinosa begins on Friday, 28th September 2018 against promoted side Ndejje University at the newly refurbished stadia St. Mary’s Stadium.
