DR Congo side Bukavu courting 3 Ugandan Players

Congolese first division side Olympic Club de Bukavu Dawa is in advanced talks with Vincent Kayizzi, Kazibwe Ismail and Patrick Ochan. Kayizzi was released by KCCA Fc after contract expiration, while Kazibwe Ismail left Lweza Fc and Patrick Ochan is also a free agent.

According to Ndusula Eric who has been conducting Bukavu Dawa preseason training in Uganda also confirmed that the club is in advanced talks to sign the players mentioned above,

“It’s true that Vincent Kayizzi, Kazibwe Ismail and Patrick Ochan are in advanced talks with Bukavu Dawa and have been training with us at Wankulukuku every single day. The three players are to meet with club owner Didi Mudogo to finalise on their transfers.”

He adds,

“We have seen their potential according to the trials that we have carried out on them and all that awaits is what comes out of the talks between them and the owner.
I strongly believe that the three players will reach agreements with the club.”

He also talked about the friendlies they have conducted so far .

“We have so far played with Lira United and lost 1-0 but we are to have one or two more preseason friendlies here in Uganda since we have one week here. After our preseason in Uganda we shall leave for Rwanda and Burundi for more preseason friendlies,” he concluded.

Olympic club de Bukavu Dawa play in Linafoot, the top level of professional football in DR Congo and won the Coupe due Congo once in 2008. Bukavu Dawa also competed in the 2006,2007 and 2009 CAF Confederations cup.

In case Kayizzi Vincent , Kazibwe Ismail and Patrick Ochan who are currently free agents complete moves to the Congolese side, they will play in a 1000 capacity sweater OC Bukavu Dawa Stadium.
