Didi, Kasadha among five players unveiled by Gaddafi FC

Eastern Regional League giants Gaddaffi Football Club have officially unveiled five new signings at New Daniels Hotel in Jinja.

Goalkeeper Didi Muhammad from Nairobi Stima, utility player Lawrence Kasadha, forward Patrick Gonahasa and Steven Munguchi from URA FC and Godwin Kawaga (formerly at UPDF) were officially introduced to the media on Friday morning.

Kasadha is a former KCCA and SC Villa defender while Didi has previously played for BUL FC, Busoga United, Soana FC and Sadolin Paints.

Gonahasa is a tasted striker who has had stints at Maroons, UPDF and Nyamityobora FC among others.

Munguchi has been acquired on loan from URA while his teammate Najib Fesali rejected a proposed loan deal in favor of Busoga United move.

Their unveiling comes a day after the club unveiled Paul Mukembo as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at the club’s head offices in Jinja.

Gadaffi FC are under head coach Mike Ssebagala and eye promotion to the FUFA Big League. They will face with Admin FC in the promotional play offs to decide the champions of the Eastern Regional League.

The winner between Gadaffi FC and Admin FC will play against the champions of the North Eastern Regional League to decide which team will make it to the FUFA Big League.
