Express FC will be seeking to bounce back from their poor run of results when they entertain rivals KCCA FC at Betway Muteesa II Stadium.

Express FC come into this contest after suffering back to back defeats without scoring against Onduparaka FC and Kirinya Jinja SS respectively. The contest against their arch rivals finds them 10th placed on the table with 13 points collected in the 10 games.

KCCA FC on the other hand has been in brilliant form that has seen them top the Uganda Premier league log with 24 points garnered in 10 games. They won they previous game against Ndejje University 3-1 at StarTimes Stadium.

Mike Mutebi’s charges have been the dominant side in this fixture, having won 7 drawn 6 and only lost 3 to their nemesis.

The Lugogo outfit tactician Mike Mutebi expects a tough contest against their old enemy but is confident his side has enough fuel to overcome the threat.

“It is not always easy for us when we are playing against Express FC, we are facing them at their home venue which makes it difficult for us but we are very prepared to face them. We are aiming at maximum points and after we shall think about the continental engagements.” Stated Mike Mutebi.

Tony Odur is doubtful for the hosts while Ibrahim Kayiwa and Mathias Muwanga are back after missing the Kirinya game. Michael Birungi and Eric Kambale are expected to lift the Wankululuku outfit.

The visitors will miss the services of youngster Julius Poloto and Bernard Muwanga who continues to recover from the longterm injury.

Sulaiman Mutyaba and Saddam Ibrahim Juma will be facing their former paymasters. Muzamir Mutyaba, Patrick Kaddu and Allan Okello are expected to be productive.

Victory for KCCA FC will extend their stay at the summit while maximum points for the Red Eagles can take them to 6th place on the table.
