Defending champions Gomba cruise past Kabula to bounce back on the rails

Gladys ZAWEDDE

Defending champions Gomba have condemned Kabula to their second straight defeat after beating them 3-1.

Daniel Nyanzi, Brian Aniku and Abasi Kyeyune scored a goal each in the 17th, 54th and 60th minutes for record champions to register their first victory after falling to Kyaddondo on Saturday.

Substitute Rashid Mutebi’s strike from the spot proved to be a consolation for Kabula.

The two sides will play their next games on Thursday 25th-November.

Gomba will play Buluuli at 12:00pm while winless Kabula will face off with two time winners Singo at 3:00pm.
