Express FC head coach Douglas Bamweyana has today named box to box midfielder David Ndihabwe as the new team skipper for the Wankulukuku outfit.

Ndihabwe who burst out to the scene with the defunct SC Victoria University in 2014, has been handed the armband putting to an end the uncertainty hovering around the captaincy of Express FC.

Express has had two stand-in captains so for the previous four matches in Steven Luswata and goalkeeper Godwin Buule.

He then takes over from Sam Senkoomi who is currently an inactive player and will be the club’s skipper for the rest of the season.

Ndihabwe has previously played for Gicumbi FC and Bugesera FC in the Rwanda Premier league where he was plying trade before joining Express FC at the start of this season.

He also joins players like Saddam Juma, Musa Mukasa, Willy Kavuma and Sulaiman Mutyaba who have been captain of the 6time champions in the recent past.
