Cricket Cranes captain Masaba optimistic ahead of ICC World Cup Challenge League B

Cricket Cranes embark on a new long but exciting journey that could see them end in India for the 2023 International Cricket Council (ICC) Cricket World Cup.

The team will however first have to negotiate a short trip to Muscat, Oman for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Challenge League B that will run from November 30th to December 13th in the Sultanate of Oman.

Cricket Cranes head coach Steven Tikola named a squad of 14 players that departed for Oman on Friday and will lock horns with Kenya, Jersey, Bermuda, Italy and Hong Kong in Group B.

The top placed team of winner after three legs will advance to the next round of qualification.

During a press briefing, team Captain Brian Masaba expressed his optimism ahead of the event

“We are looking forward for the challenge, the team is well balanced and ready to rise the Ugandan flag.” We are a good side and we are optimistic for astonishing results in Oman.” He stated.
