Crested Cranes to depart for Morocco on Wednesday

Uganda Crested Cranes head coach George Lutalo has named a final squad of 26 players to take part in the Women Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.

Custodian Ruth Aturo is the team captain and will be deputized by Hasifah Nassuna and Najjemba Fauzia and Daisy Nakaziro.

The Crested Cranes will depart for Morocco tomorrow for a pre-tournament camp in Marrakech before heading for Rabat a week later.

Uganda is in Group A alongside hosts Morocco, Burkina Faso and Senegal.

The continental football showpiece will run from July 2 to 23 in Rabat and Casablanca.
