COSAFA CUP: Cranes final squad named

Coach Abdallah Mubiru has named a Uganda Cranes squad of 20 players for the COSAFA Championship.

A 29 man contingent that includes 20 players and 9 officials will travel to South Africa on Wednesday afternoon (3:00pm).

The team has been in camp for 2 weeks and will begin their COSAFA campaign at the quarterfinal stage again Lesotho on Saturday 1st June 2019 in South Africa, Durban.

The team has been in residential training for the last 2 weeks and played a practice match with Western Region Select team which ended 1-0 in favour of Cranes in Bushenyi.

Uganda Cranes will begin the tournament at the quarterfinal stage against Lesotho on Saturday 1st June 2019.
