COSAFA 2019: Uganda Cranes safely land in South Africa

The Cranes team that will represent Uganda at the 2019 COSAFA tournament safely arrived in South Africa on Wednesday evening.

The 29-man contingent left Uganda via the Entebbe International Airport at 3:00pm aboard South Africa Airways before landing at O.R Tambo international airport.

The team later connected to Durban where they are accomodated at the Garden Court Marine Parade.

The Cranes will kick start their COSAFA campaign at the quarter final stage against Lesotho on Saturday 1st June.

The team is coached by Abdallah Mubiru assisted by Charles Livingstone Mbabazi and goalkeepers coach Sadiq Wassa while Geoffrey Massa serves as the team coordinator.

Veteran defender Isaac Isinde will captain the team assisted by KCCA's midfielder Muzamir Mutyaba.
