COPA COCA-COLA: Kibuli, JIPRA and Jinja SS post wins

Record Champions Kibuli Secondary School struggled to win 10-man Rock High School Tororo 2-1.

Rock High were reduced 10 men in the opening minutes for putting down Iddi Abdul Wahid in the forbidden area resulting into a penalty which was well taken by Collin Onega.

Minutes later Yasin Abdul Owane had chance to level matters from the spot only his effort to go metres wide.

Iddi Abdul Wahid extended Kibuli Secondary School’s lead mounting more misery on Rock High Tororo.

Alex Akankwasa pulled one back for the Tororo based institution but it was not enough for any positive result.

Rivals Jinja Secondary School and Jinja Progressive Academy ( JIPRA) registered comprehensive wins defeating St Paul Secondary School 4-0 and St Mary’s Rushoroza 5-0 respectively.

Isma Mugulusi, Frank Ssemakula and Lawrence Tezikya who bagged a brace were on target for Jinja Secondary School.

This result means that Jinja Secondary School has already booked a place at the round of 16 with 12 points from four games and yet to concede any goal.

Abdul Kanakulya, David Okema and Alex Okello who scored twice scored the all important goals for Jinja Progressive Academy against St Mary’s Rushoroza.

Uganda Martyrs High School Lubaga shared spoils with Paidha SS in a gooalles stalemate at Kakindu.

St Julian High School Gayaza played to a gooalles draw with Nyangilia from West Nile.
