CONFIRMED : Vipers’ Nizigiyimana completes move to Wazito FC

Roving right back Karim Nizigiyimana has joined Kenya Premier League newbies Wazito FC on a two year deal from Vipers Sports Club.

Nizigiyimana had joined Vipers on a two year contract as a free agent in February this year.

The former APR and Rayon Sports right back has been officially unveiled by Wazito FC on Tuesday alongside his former Gor Mahia teammate Abouba Sibomana.

“I will play as I have always played with my heart for Wazito,”

Nizigiyimana told the club’s website 

” I know people will be asking if this will be the Karim of 2015 and I want to tell them that this is even a better version. I am ready to give my best at Wazito.”

Both Nizigiyimana and Sibomana were once signed by Gor Mahia in January 2015 from Rayon Sports and successfully guided K’Oghalo to the league triumph unbeaten that year.

The duo joins new signings at the club who include; Sofapaka’s Piston Mutamba, Kevin Omondi, Bixente Otieno, Joshua Nyatini, Derrick Otanga and Gad Mathews from Kariobangi Sharks.

Wazito has also scooped up striker Elvis Rupia from Zambia’s Power Dynamos.

The newly promoted side will open up their KPL campaign on August 31st against Nzoia Sugar at Kenyatta stadium, Machakos
