SC Villa captain Bernard Muwanga has completed a sensational switch to rivals KCCA FC.
Muwanga whose contract Villa was bound to expire in December this year has put pen to paper on a 3 year deal with the 12 time league champions.
Confirming the deal to Swift sports Uganda, the Cranes defender said
“This is a massive opportunity and a big career move for me, beforehand is a big challenge to prove my worth in a very competitive team”.
“KCCA are a winning team which are also challenging on the continent, I am excited to be part of this big project”.
He joined SC Villa during the 2015/16 season signing from Bright stars FC. He was only named full time captain at the beginning of the 2017/18 season, following the departure of Tadeo Lwanga.
KCCA FC are also set to finalise the signing of Muwanga’s former teammate Martin Kizza whose contract with SC Villa expired.
