City Oilers in back to back FIBA Africa Champions Cup

The City Oilers team that featured at the 2016 edition of FIBAACC.

City Oilers booked their ticket to the FIBA Africa Champions Cup 2017 due to take place on 8th-17th of December in Rades, Tunisia.

Having defeated Rwandan side Patriot in an 86-59 destruction, they confirmed their entrance in the FIBAACC for a second consecutive year.

Oilers will be looking to improve on their performance from last year’s where they won only one game and finished 9th among the 10 teams in a tournament that was won by hosts ,El Ahly who defeated Recreativo do Libolo 68-66.

City Oilers defeated Cameroonian side Nzui-Manto 88-69 but went on to lose to Tunisian side Club Africain 44-98. Oilers also lost 67-77 to GSP, 72-83 to ASS and 65-67 to BBY.
